SUMMER OUTINGS AVAILABLE FOR BOOKING ON MONDAY MARCH 31st AND MUST BE PAID IN FULL BY MAY 19th IF NOT DUE BEFORE

May 1st Thursday

Ring a ring O’Roses story of the plague of 1665. Tour to Eyam, guided by      John Doughty, lunch break in Bakewell and on to Tissington Well Dressing.        Cost approx £15 includes coffee and biscuits.

May 14th Wed.

On the trail of Pendle Witches, guided coach tour of the area, tour of The Heritage Centre and some retail therapy at Bardon Mill. -  Cost approx/ £21.50  - 8.30 a.m. dep.

June 11th Wed.  

 Guided tour of the Yorkshire Dales with David Haydon, lunch stop in Hawes.  -  Cost approx £11.00 - 8.30 a.m. dep.

June 26th Thursday 

 Crosby for Andrew Gormley’s  Iron Men (guided by Rodger Burgess) afternoon free in Southport.  -  Cost approx £10.50  - 8.3a.m. dep.

July 9th Wed.  

 Evesham, for star day out inc. coffee on arrival, guided tour of heritage centre, free time, a cruise on the River Avon and finally a cream tea.          Cost £19.00. -  8.30 a.m. dep.

July 24th Thursday     Port Sunlight guided tour.  Cost approx.  £10.
Aug 6th Wed   ‘Electric Mountain’ Llanberis. Guided tour inside the mountain by expedition bus to see the hydro electric power station.  Coffee stop at Llangollen, lunch stop at Betws-y-Coed.  Cost approx £16  -  8.30 a.m. dep.
Aug. 20th Wed.     Wroxeter Roman Vineyard and Roman City, Shropshire inc. tour, coffee, Lunch and wine tasting!  Cost approx £22
Sep 3rd Wed. Visit to Whittington Barracks for World War 1 trench followed by visit to Alrewas to see Armed forces Memorial  etc.  -  Cost approx £11
Sep 16th Tuesday Judges Lodging at Presteigne, Powys stopping for coffee at Dobbies Garden Centre near Shrewsbury en route.  Cost approx £17 includes tea and cakes after afternoon tour.
AUTUMN OUTINGS AVAILABLE FOR BOOKING ON MONDAY SEPTEMBER 1st 2008
Oct 8th Visit to the Western front War Rooms and Waterfront Liverpool to view new the Cruise Terminal and the Canal extension also to take a look inside the Port of Liverpool building (One of the 3 Graces) Conducted by Rodger Burgess. Includes Coffee at the Maritime Museum and lunch at the Adelphi Approx cost of £17

Oct 21st

Illustrated talk on St Petersburg and the Hermitage Museum at Clonter Opera. Includes Coffee and biscuits on arrival and a Ploughman's lunch. Approx. cost £30

Nov. 5th `Evita' at the Regent theatre Hanley. Matinee Performance. Approx. cost £16 £5 deposit required
Nov. 13th Halle Orchestra Classical Spectacular at the MEN Manchester Approx. cost £43 £20 deposit required
Nov. 29th Christmas Lunch at the De Vere, Wychwood Park Hotel, Nantwich. Approx cost f 17. £5 deposit required
Dec 8th Thackray's Medical Museum nr. Jimmy's Hospital Leeds. The story of Victorian medicine.  Approx cost £13

Short Breaks and Holidays

June 1st 6 day break to Northumberland, one night in Durham and 4 nights in Morpeth
September 5th 3 nights in Moscow and 4 nights in St Petersburg

Jan. 14th `Mary Poppins' matinee performance at the Palace theatre Manchester Approx cost £22 £5 deposit required
