SUCCESS – NO PARKING CHARGES FOR ALSAGER!

Happy to report that the Highways & Transport Committee of Cheshire East Council voted against the proposals and consultation, meaning that charges will not be coming to towns like Alsager. Well done to all those who spoke, myself, Cllr Sue Helliwell, Cllr June Buckley and others from other towns. And a big thank you to all the residents, businesses and organisations who also added on the pressure with emails and petitions. A fantastic win for Alsager.

They played their first game last Sunday having been together just 5 days. Although AFC will have been in Alsager for 10 years in 2022, and despite having more than 20 registered teams, this is the first all-girls team.
