Membership

Membership to Alsager and District U3A is open to anyone who is retired or no longer in full time employment. The membership year of Alsager and District U3A is from 1 January until 31 December with a current yearly fee of £10.00. If you are a new member and wish to join from 1 September there is a reduced rate of £5.00 for the remainder of that year.

Term Time for our groups in 2021 and 2022 are as follows:

  • Autumn Term 2021: Monday 6 September – Friday 26 November
  • Spring Term 2022: Monday 3 January – Friday 27 May
  • Autumn Term 2022: Monday 5 September – Friday 25 November

Some groups do continue beyond the normal dates, details of which can be found on the individual group pages.

How to Join

New members can join at any time using either the online facility, in person at the Civic on a Monday morning or by post. The options and details are set out below.

2. MEMBERSHIP DESK

The Membership Desk is normally available at the Civic on Monday mornings from 09:30 to 11:30. Members assisting at the Membership Desk are happy to enrol you with Alsager U3A. Click below for the new membership form if you wish to complete this before attending the Civic.

There is also a Groups Desk at the Civic where details of all Alsager U3A group activities are available and experienced members will provide any information you may require regarding Alsager U3A.

3. POST

Applications for membership can be made through the post by completing the new membership form and sending it to the Membership Secretary, along with a cheque for the current fee of £10.00 made out to Alsager U3A. Click below for an application form if you wish to apply for membership by post.

Membership Renewal

Members are able to renew membership for the following year from the week commencing after the AGM. All renewals are due by the 1st January and an email will be sent to you, as a reminder, with a link to allow members to renew and pay online. If you prefer, click below for a form to renew your membership via the Members Desk or by post.

All renewals are due by the 1st January each year to ensure members are fully covered for insurance.
