From 17th May groups within the fitness sector were allowed to restart if all Covid guidelines were followed. This included guidelines from their venues. The groups listed below have been added to the Zoom/email groups that have functioned throughout the pandemic.
Badminton (Christ Church Hall) | Keep Active with Music (Alsager Golf Club) | Keep Fit to Music (Christ Church, from Tuesday 8th June) | Table Tennis (Alsager Golf Club, 3 groups; Rode Heath Village Hall, 5 groups) | Walking Netball (Alsager Leisure Centre)
As was agreed, other non-fitness groups were given the option of restarting, so Knitting & Crochet and Painting for Pleasure have also begun. This gives us a total of 30 groups, to include 5 Walking, and 10 on Zoom & Email, which are now up and running.

The coronavirus pandemic is impacting the lives of everyone. This includes your local Alsager U3A. Many of our members belong to the "at risk" category, therefore we are closely monitoring (and swiftly acting upon) any changes in government advice regarding social distancing.
The good news: although our group activities are suspended in line with the lockdown regulations, Alsager U3A is still open! We are offering a host of distance activities via Zoom and email (plus news updates) – keeping members safe, and keeping members connected.
There's never been a better time, to join Alsager U3A.
